The food here was AMAZING! Perfect diner food that wasn't greasy, was very tasty, and had great texture. I had the Lotta chicken and my mother the burger and just... Everything was cooked to perfection. Usually with thin sliced grilled chicken, you run the risk of it being dry, but this was juicy and tender. The ... burger was juicy and had those delicious crisp around the edges that are burger gold. The fries are wonderfully crisp, coleslaw super creamy and tasty, and the hush puppies are to die for. The cherry limeade is slap yo momma good. The price is amazing for the amount of food you get (which is a lot, but no complaints to that!), and the staff are really nice. I love this place. All the food items I've tried are great, especially the lottaburger, chuckwagon, tater tots, potato wedges, and fried pickles. They have a cherry lemon sundrop drink that they make with crushed ice and add real cherries and a lemon slice. It's so good! The building is very outdated, but the decor ... and oldies music make up for it. There's plenty of tables inside plus a few picnic tables outside. I do think their menu is overpriced, but we're from out-of-town so it's worth it when we're visiting. One small drawback is that they are closed on Sundays, so if you're looking to eat here on a weekend you'll have to go on Saturday. Also, they will randomly close on other days of the week for reasons other than holidays. Once we drove there on a Friday and discovered they were closed. A damn good burger (to quote the other Google review that led me here). The hot fresh patties and the cold slaw are a perfect compliment. Got the double hamburger ($7.99) and cheese (+ $0.98). So. Good.
